What do the indicators in the statistics VKontakte
Let’s start with the basics (by the way, these are the basics of media planning – if you want to learn more, you know what to google).
Impressions – The total number of times your ad is shown . Here, all views are counted, that is, one user is “recorded” in this indicator several times.
Coverage is an indicator that measures the number of people who have seen your material. Coverage estimates only unique users. That is, how many people have you covered. We already wrote more about coverage in a separate article.
In addition, there are four types of coverage in VKontakte statistics:
Full coverage is the total number of all users covered (the sum of the three parameters listed below).
Subscribers reach – the number of users who have seen the post, and at the same time subscribed to the community.
Viral coverage is the number of users who have seen the material, although they are not subscribed to the community (for example, they saw a repost on a friend’s page or received a post in private messages).
Advertising coverage – users covered by paid promotion.
How to see VKontakte community statistics

Statistics of any VKontakte page
We analyzed the statistics of our own pages and communities. And now we will learn to look at the statistics of other pages: competitors or publics, where you plan to buy ads.
In order to see the statistics of communities and VKontakte pages to which you do not have access, use Popsters.ru . You will even get data that is not in the built-in community statistics.
Let’s look at the statistics of the Amediateki community together. We entered the address in the search bar and selected analysis dates: let it be a month, from April 15 to May 15.
A dashboard opens with 3 columns:
Here you can choose charts for different parameters : community activity by days of the week and time of day, likes, comments, views, reposts, ER, subscribers growth. And also: the volume of the text, the number of publications, the ratio of the activity of the audience and the length of the text and formats of publications (photos, videos, text).
Read more about each indicator in the FAQ.
This column contains all community posts for the selected period .
On the example of Amediateki, it is clear that the most popular post is the announcement of the series Patrick Melrose (probably the secret of success in Benedict Cumberbatch!).
By default, they are sorted by the number of likes , but you can choose any other option. For example, in order to identify the most engaging topics among competitors, sort posts by comments.
The third column displays general information: the number of likes, comments, views, reposts for the period, ER (engagement ratio). This section is marked with a red arrow in the screenshot above.
There is also a button to upload all publications from the tape to Excel. Publications are exported along with the text, image, and detailed statistics for each entry.
Clicking on the “Show Table” button opens a summary for the selected period. It is convenient to insert into the presentation or show the client. 😉
The full analysis result can also be uploaded to XLSX, PPTX or PDF. The download button is on the left, in the “Statistics” column.
